About us
Region
Burgenland is famous for its expressive, harmonious red wines. It owes this to the Pannonian climate in connection with the balancing influences of the nearby Lake Neusiedl. This is why almost two thirds of our vineyards are planted with indigenous red wine varieties. We pay particular attention to our flagship variety Zweigelt, and another native variety, Blaufränkisch, is also a firmly established favourite in our red product line. Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon round out the red range.
Our white wines have the characteristics of their grape varieties as well as their Burgenland fruity character. We vinify aromatic-fresh Sauvignon Blanc, strong Chardonnay, but also Grüner Veltliner, Muskat Ottonel and Welschriesling. We owe our unique, award-winning dessert wines to the unique climate of Lake Neusiedl.
